Introdução
The Department of Letters of the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) offers its program of Portuguese as a Second /Foreign Language. The Portuguese language courses are designed to develop the students' ability to understand and use both spoken and written Portuguese, so as to allow for communication. Our courses are targeted at people of different nationalities who are interested in learning Brazilian language and culture.

Our classes are based on a process of teaching and learning the language grammar through music, literature, films, and a range of text genres about the different nuances displayed on Brazilian culture and history

Pré-Requisito
Placement test / Teste de nivelamento
To perform the enrollment, it is necessary to carry out the placement test that will take place in two stages:
1st stage - Written Test: To perform the written test, access the link below at any time.
2nd stage - Oral Test: After the written test, we will contact you to schedule the test.
The oral interviews will be carried out on 08/01/21, 02/02/21, and 02/27/21.
Para realizar a matrícula é necessário realizar o teste de nivelamento que ocorrera em duas etapas:
1ª etapa – Teste Escrito: Para realizar o teste escrito acesse o link abaixo a qualquer momento.
2ª etapa – Teste Oral: Após a realização do teste escrito entraremos em contato para agendar o teste.
As entrevistas orais serão realizadas nos dias 08/01/21, 05/02/21, e 27/02/21.
Metodologia
Classes are offered through two different platforms: Moodle – offers various tools for distance teaching; and Zoom – offers telepresence meetings between students and teachers.
As aulas são oferecidas em duas plataformas distintas: Moodle - oferece diversas ferramentas para ensino a distância; e Zoom - oferece encontros de telepresença entre alunos e professores.
